It elevates estrogen and kortisol levels while blocks the enzyme that affec ts testosterone production.
Liquorice is not the best option for comsuption when it comes to men and people with high-blood pressure.
Drink it as a tea, the best in the morning.
Primrose oil is used as a diet supplement for reducing PMS symptomes. It is considered that the stronger pms is, the less alpha linoleic acid there is in the body. Primrose is rich in this acid. Because of the reduced levels of the same acid women tend to be more sensitive to the hormone prolactin which results in painful feeling of the breasts before period. It also helps with arthritis, phsoriasis and neurodermatitis. In Great Britain primrose oil is used as on official tretmant for women problems.
It is usually used as dietary supplement, two times a day.
Among the plants that are important for women’s health is also turmeric. This yellow root has substances which make it a potent chemoterapeutic agens. It protects from breast and uterus carcinoma.
You can add it in your dishes or even in a cup of milk and make a so called gold milk.
Flax seeds are rich in estrogen and lignine. Fitoestrogen in flax seeds is similar with the human one so it is recommended for women during menopause to balance the levels of this hormone. On the other side, it contains lignine as plant fiber which extracts the excess of estrogen wich can, if the levels of the same are too high, cause cancer.
A spoon of seeds or flax seed oil add into the youghurt or farmer’s cheese.
