Chia seeds are very known for its healthy properties. They contain a pretty nice amount of proteins, vitamins A, B, D and E. They are also rich in minerals. One thing that makes them this useful reagrding the health are the fibers. Fibers help digestion and extraction of the toxines in the body.
Chia dessert as a pudding
For one person portion you will need:
50 g chia seeds
1 to 2 tablespoons of cocoa
0.5 dcl of almond / soy milk
half dcl water
1 tablespoon of honey
- In the blender mix all the ingredients to get a creamy mixture. Then put it in the bowl and leave for half an hour in the fridge so the seeds become plump. As they get plumper, the pudding will grow and be less watery. When the pudding is finished you can add some seasonal fruit or frozen forest fruit.
