I’ve got this super fine recipe from my friend. Although I was sceptic at first, I used one boring Sunday afternoon to try it out and ever since then it is quite often on my menu. Even my 3-year old loves it, and you know what does it mean for a kid to love any vegetable, especially broccoli. Mine adores it and believe me, yours will too so get and prep it.
Dove ingredients:
- a glass of lukewarm water
- some sugar
- 1 fresh yeast
- 200 g of plain flour
- one teaspoon of salt
- one tablespoon of olive oil
Topping:
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of plain flour
- half of cup of sour cream
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 230 g of broccoli
- 1 pack of mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground red pepper
Preparation:
Dough:
Pour warm water into a bowl, add some sugar and crumble fresh yeast. Leave it to rise for about 5 minutes. Then put flour, salt and olive oil into another bowl. Then add the yeast into dry ingredients, blend them together and form a dough. Put the dough into a bowl, cover with a cloth an leave it on a warm place for about an hour or until it doubles in size.
Topping:
It won’t take long to prepare this delicious pizza topping. Use a chopper to mix broccoli and garlic and then melt the butter, blend it all togther to form a paste. Add sour cream to the mixture and warm it up as well continuously stirring. The cream should have solid consistency, however if paste is not easy to spread, warm it up some more until it thickens.
Stretch dough for pizza, put it on a baking lim, bake it for approximately 5 minutes at 200°C, then take it out from the oven and arrange mozzrella slices and topping on pizza and continue baking it for some 8 – 10 minutes more until cornicione bakes well. When the piza is baked, sprinkle some ground red pepper over the top and enjoy its magic taste.
