Snacks and a movie? It is a combination hardly anyone can resist. However, if we plan to see a movie, we can also plan what to at the movies or at home. So go for healthy snacks, the ones you can enjoy with no guilt such as flour free crackers we bring you recipe for.
Ingredients for flour free crackers:
- 1/2 cup of milled flaxseed
- 1/2 cup of milled sesame
- 1 egg white
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon of fresh cheese
- some water
(You can use yoghurt container as a measuring cup.)
Put milled flaxseed and sesame into a bowl, add salt and other seasons of your choice. Mix in fresh cheese, coconut oil and whipped egg white. Add some water to the mixture, a tablespoon or two should do and form a mixture that should have be solid enough so you can stretch it on a parchment paper as thinly as possible. Cut it into squares or stripes, whatever shape you like.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for 30 minutes. Leave it to chill and enjoy!
Note: It is important to stretch this dove-like mixture so it resembles crackers not cake.
