The beauty is in the eye of beholder – is a well-known proverb. Likewise, we can say that the perception of beauty changed throughout centuries, even from decade to decade. However, the fact remains that “the” celebs like Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, and J. Lo have become famous for their voluptuous curves and thus are among the most googled persons in the world. When it comes to their beauty, many women will do almost anything to look like them, and we have numerous bloggers who give us advice on how to wear makeup like Kim Kardashian, for instance, and make a very nice money out of it, while men think of Kim as their dream women. But, what makes Kim so desirable? We’ve asked men what would their dream woman look like and here is what we’ve found out!
Perfect female body shape
Although famous Coco Chanel once sad that a woman is never skinny enough, we can all agree it’s a bit extreme. However, no woman has probably been always satisfied with weight and there must have been times when each of us thought it would be good to shed a pound or two, but pounds (read: curves) in the right place are exactly what men want and what makes a woman desirable. Big breasts, tiny waist, and broad hips are what most men like to see on a woman and it’s nothing new actually, in fact in the terms of evolution it is even justifiable. Namely, women with prominent curves like wide hips symbolize fertility, or better to say, successful reproduction, and this automatically makes them attractive.
What facial features find the most attractive?
When it comes to facial features, men find the face of a woman like Jennifer Love Hewitt to be the most attractive. Opposite to the most appealing heart-shaped face is square face because men consider it too masculine, while oval face (the perfect shape!) is in the middle of the facial attractiveness list.
As far as lips are concerned, men simply adore full lips which are being associated with sensuality. Furthermore, though it’s said that the eyes are mirrors of the soul, men prefer blue or green eyes more than brown. This may be due to the fact that bright eyes are not as common as brown.
Hair as decoration
Hair is what gives a certain frame to the face, and many women are well aware of that fact so they pay great attention precisely to this “decorative” feature and can be very selective when it comes to a hairdresser they trust. But, for men, long or short hair is rarely a matter of debates – long hair almost always wins. Besides being more difficult to maintain than short hair, long hair makes easier to seduce a man. Also, long hair covers facial imperfections while short hair opens a face making the imperfections more visible. Furthermore, though many would think that men prefer blondes, the popularity of blond hair declined since the 90s giving way to dark hair. In any case, though it’s clear that the terms ‘beautiful’ and ‘popular/attractive’ are sometimes interchangeable, they are never synonymous which is why the beauty has always been and will be in the eye of the beholder.
