Christmas holidays often make us think. We pay more attention to love couples, at the same time wondering about our own happiness. We easily fall under the influence of romantic movies, commercials, and quest for the right gift our loved one deserves. In a relationship or not, anything can happen this season to any of us. We only need to believe in that a bit more.
If you are single for Christmas holidays, don’t despair. Love couples may seem to pop out around every corner, but it may be also you pay too much attention to them. Being solo is in, which means that anything is possible this season. Christmas fairs are just the right place to meet somebody interesting and make new friendships. Besides, in this time of year you don’t need to justify if you had a glass of drink more or not, you can always say you were caught up in the moment.
Also, use the money you thought of spending on a gift for him/her and spend it on yourself. Who doesn’t feel good after visiting a hair salon?
Refresh some old friendships. Use every weekend that’s left as New Year’s Eve warm up and you know what? Don’t miss any of them.
Also, don’t return back to an old bad relationship just because you got melancholic. Just think of the things you can enjoy now that you are single and have more time.
Being in a relationship doesn’t necessarily imply you are problem-free. People who are not single are very much aware of that and know how much trouble can relationships sometimes bring. So, if you are constantly arguing with your partner, think again. Will this matter to me in a year? Experts say that every time we get into a quarrel we need to ask ourselves this particular question. This can save us a lot of time and nerves. Holidays are time to forgive and be forgiven. Forgive your partner and enjoy holidays. Buy Christmas presents together, book a snow trip and make memories.
If you are in a happy relationship, show that to your partner. The best gift may be sincere “I love you”, isn’t that so?
Create your own luck. When you start believing anything is possible, the magic may actually happen. You don’t need a special love status to be happy. Be grateful for everything you have – at this very moment. And let your new (love) status be: I’m happy because anything is possible.
