Parsley is known as one of the cheapest ingredients when it comes to food. Our grandmothers used it a long time before for beauty purposes. Parsley is rich in vitamins C, K, calcium and many other useful micronutrients.
It is the vitamin C from parsley that stimulates collagen syntesis, lightens dark spots and the face tonic made from it reduces pores.
Here is how to use it.
Chop the parsley. Two tbs of parsley put in 2 dcl of destilled water. Leave it to cook for 15 minutes. After it has cooled pour it in a bottle and squize half a lemon juice.
Use in the morning and in the evening after your face wash.
This tonic will reduce pore appearance and lighten dark spots.
No dandruff hair
This recepie is transfered from one generation to another. To reduce dandruff mix parsley leaves, garlic, rosemary and lavander in an alcohol solution. Put the mixture on your hair and leave it for just a short time. After that rinse hair as you do usually. Do not use strong, agressive shampoos.
Parsley for weight reduction
Parsley tea is a well known diuretic. Two tbs of chopped parsley leaves put in 2 dcl of boiled water. Strain it after 10 minutes. When it cooles down add a bit of lemon juice.
It is good to drink this juice first thing in the morning. It detoxes the liver and helps with kidney stones.
Don’t forget to add it in food. This leafy spice is very well known in the Mediterranean where is added in most dishes.
