Applying make-up using a series of different products is a real waste of time since, but according to some recent fashion trends, this drag has finally come to an end.
The technique which hit the celebrity scene and of course, it didn’t make us feel indifferent either is called strobing. This look advocates the use of a highlighter on places where light naturally hits your face. In this way, we create fine and gentle facial contours.
However, one needs to have healthy skin to make this work. Flawless skin is a must have and you can achieve that by a well-balanced diet and proper skin care. Since this look is all about the natural, once you thoroughly clean your face, apply moisturizer cream and then harmonizing face powder.
You should be very careful when using a highlighter and make sure you apply it on the areas like cheekbones, cupid’s bow, the bridge of the nose, center of the forehead (but make sure you don’t put too much highlighter so as not to elongate your forehead even more). It can also be applied in the corner of the eyes, the tip of the chin as well as on the brow bones.
If you think you look too radiant, just apply a small amount of a liquid face powder over the highlighter and you’ll get that subtle tone you want. Now check for yourself why everyone has gone mad for this beauty technique!
