Who wouldn’t like a romantic breakfast in bread? Man or a woman, pink pancakes are just what you need to prepare for your “significant other” or even friends. You can make them in sweet or salty version, whichever you prefer.
- 3 eggs
- a pinch of or sugar (depending on the version)
- 450 ml of milk
- 150 g of flour
- 1 cooked beet or beet juice
- some oil
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Strain beets or cut down the milk in case you add beet juice. Add beet (juice) just enough to make mixture pink. Drizzle some oil on the pan and bake pancakes making sure to bake one side longer than the other so that they become really pink.
Don’t worry, you won’t feel that beet is even in pancakes. You can also prepare salty stuffing for the pancakes and anything simple like cream or sour cream would perfectly complement them. If needed, add some salt or sugar, depending on the version of pancakes you go for.
Pink pancakes go well with coffee but also with sweet, dessert wine.
