Monday is the most hated day of the week for most of us, for sure. This weekend is over and there is still 5 days to go and so many things are already waiting to be done by the end of this, new week. How to ease the Monday blues?
Don’t let Monday kills off your weekend buzz. The quickest way to immediately feel better is to dress up. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and hot and be ready to look Monday in the eye.
Take a rest
Many of us use the weekend to finish week’s chorus we didn’t have time for during the week. Don’t let this happens. One day of the weekend should be reserved just for you and things you enjoy in. Go on a picnic, exercise or simply lie down and stare at some dot – whatever charges your batteries.
The earlier bird…
Catch your worm too! Make sure to go to bed in time in order toget at least 8 hours of sleep. Our body regenerates while we sleep so you’ll be fresh and full of energy in the morning.
Waking early will help you create a routine, but will also give you time to prepare for every day, not just Monday.
On Sunday evening make a to-do list. However, the trick lies in prioritizing. Things you least enjoy doing should be reserved for any other day other than Monday, regardless if it is about a job or some stuff at home. Any other day other than Monday will do and you won’t hate Monday (as much) anymore.
Can’t wait for Friday
The same way you make a to-do list for your responsibilities, you should do a to-do list for your weekend plans. This way you’ll hardly wait for Friday or a day off and there will also be something to look forward to.
Oh, how I love…
…to go to the movies/for a coffee/run/ something else. The beginning of the week is a perfect time to do this! So, the next time you need to do something you hate, it’s better to treat yourself with something you enjoy afterwards.
Monday shouldn’t be that difficult with these suggestions. Try some of them. Is there any your way to beat the Monday blues?
