Drink a glass of water
Each time you feel hungry, don’t just ran off to the fridge, but drink a glass of water instead. Some studies have shown that we often confuse thirst for hunger. If you are still hungry even after having a glass of water, then you can eat something, but make sure your snack is low-fat and nutritious, i.e. healthy.
Watch yourself in the mirror while eating
One study has shown that if you watch yourself in the mirror while eating, you’ll eat less food than you normally do. Maybe this sounds a bit extreme, but trust me, it really works!
Any time you face fast food craving, wash your teeth or take a gum
Everyone has probably found himself craving fast food, especially in the evening hours when we watch TV and can’t to focus on a movie because they only think of grabbing a slice of pizza or a sandwich. But before you give in to craving, wash your teeth or take a gum and this torture should turn into a matter of the past.
You can also do one more thing and that is – remove all the unhealthy and calorie-packed food from the fridge and pantry and surround yourself with nothing but the healthy foods. However, you should bear in mind that almost all unhealthy foods (cravings) have healthy alternatives you can inform about. Moreover, cook using fresh ingredients and small amounts of fat (oil) and avoid processed food. All in all, the slim fit secret lies in the quality of food, but weight issues alone come from the amount of food one eats. So forget about overeating and embrace healthy food you can really indulge in without worrying about your looks and/or health.
