Morning routine is a challange for most people. It is easier to snooze the alarm and sleep for extra 5 minutes than to get up early to do things that will fulfill the rest of our day. Often, oversleeping the alarm could make us feel stressed and as if everything is going the wrong way from the early morning. Luckily, there a few ways how to establish your routine so that mornings become your favourite part of the day.
The idea of waking up early is not a favourite for everyone. This routine could be learnt. If waking up 20 minutes earlier sounds imposiblle, start with 5 or 10 minutes. There are some studies that showed that 7 hours and 20 minutes of sleep is the optimum time for sleeping in which all the cycles of sleep are finished.
After waking up, open your windows and let natural light come into the room. The sunlight will send signals to your brain that you’re no longer sleepy and it will reduce melatonine production. Lay or sit on your bed for a few more minutes just breathing and preparing yourself for a day ahead of you.
3.A glass of lemon water
After a good night sleep your body is dehydrated. In a glass of water squize half a lemon juice. This way you’ll rehydrate your organisam and help your digestion. If sour is not your favourite taste, add a spoon of honey. This sweet and healthy routine will give you energy and prepare you for all the work that you have today.
4. Strech out
Strech your muscels. This only takes a few minutes. If you have some extra time in the morning do a quick excersize or a bit of yoga. This will benefit you.
5.Breakfast – the most important meal of the day
Breakfast should be a part of your daily routine. Eat as much as you can. Prepare yourself cereals or bread with some topping. If you don’t have any time a smoothie is a great way to start a day and give your body all the vitamins and minerals. Prepare or buy yourself a coffe. You deserved it before work.

7.To – do list
Make a to-do list. You can do this before going to sleep. What is important to do today? What represents the biggest stres for you? Mark Twain use to say: ” If you eat a live frog first thing in the morning, nothing worse will happen to you all day.” Pick your ”frog” from the list that you made and do that as soon as possible. This way you will be relatively stress free for the rest of the day.
The secret of having a morning routine is to prepare all the tingh you can the night before so that in the morning you have enough time to do other things.
